To speed up uTorrent download speed, you need to input these settings into your uTorrent preferences option:
Open uTorrent and go to preferences option from the options tab or just simply use the shortcut Cntrl+P
Then go to the Connection tab, and input these settings there:
Port – 57722
Enable UPnP Port Mapping – Check
Enable NAT-PMP Port Mapping – Check
Proxy Server – None
Then go to the Bandwidth tab, and input these settings there:
Max upload rate – 0
Max download rate – 0
Apply rate limit to uTP connections – Check
Max no. of connections – 200
Max connected peers – 50
Max upload slots – 4
Then you need to go to BitTorrent tab, and apply following setting:
Check all boxes except the last one which is Limit local peer bandwidth
Outgoing – Disabled
Allow incoming legacy – Check
Check all boxes except the last one which is Limit local peer bandwidth
Outgoing – Disabled
Allow incoming legacy – Check
Then go to the Queueing tab, and apply these:
Max no. of active torrents – 8
Max no. of active downloads – 5
Minimum ratio – 200
Min seeding time – 0
Min no. of available seeds – 0
Max no. of active torrents – 8
Max no. of active downloads – 5
Minimum ratio – 200
Min seeding time – 0
Min no. of available seeds – 0
Now you need to go to the Advanced tab, and change following settings there:
bt.allow_same_ip – False
bt.connect_speed – 25
gui.show_notorrents_node – False
gui.update_rate – 1000rss.update_interval – 15
Then after this just click Apply and then Ok!
So that’s pretty much the settings which are needed to increase your uTorrent download speed but you have to remember one more thing while you are downloading something through uTorrent.
Every time you download anything through uTorrent, you need to make theBandwidth Allocation High. To do that you have to right-click with your mouse on the download bar of that file in the uTorrent, then go to Bandwidth Allocation option and select High.

Remember that most of the settings mentioned above will only work if you have a good and trusted ISP(Internet Service Provider) and if your ISP is not giving you the service or speed that it offered you while signing up then you might need to think about changing your ISP.
Also, make sure whenever you download anything through uTorrent you should always download the torrent file which has the maximum peers and seeds it will boost your download speed a lot.
